It's almost here! Tomorrow Scott and I run the Gulf Beach Half Marathon. I feel like this weekend always sneaks up on us! We have had some good and not so good long runs this summer. The hot weather didn't help us out there, but we still got the mileage in. Per usual, I'm not in it for speed but enjoy the event. Plus, the beer that afternoon tastes so good! Wish us luck! 


Update: We survived! It got so hot by 9:30/10a, which was horrible, but we finished. I didn't do as well as I'd hoped. I think it's time to figure out if I really like this distance or need to move on to smaller races!
