Memorial Day Weekend in Portsmouth!

 

Scott and I LOVE Portsmouth, NH. It is such a cute coastal downtown. Right on the water, with a great little boutique Hotel above the Repertory theater.

We stayed at the Ale House Inn last year for my bday, and again this weekend. 

It has a nautical theme, and we got to see the show at the Repertory Theater for Free with our stay! 

We got to see "The Last 5 Years". 

It is a musical of a relationship - told from both sides of the couple. The girl starts from the end and goes to the beginning and the guy starts at the beginning and goes to the end. They intersect once - at their wedding. It was so good - different and a bit sad. 

Highly recommend seeing it if it comes near you! 

 We started the weekend with a tour of Red Hook Brewery

Cool idea : make a wreath out of hops! Smells great! 

We wandered around Portsmouth and thought it was funny to see Scott's home town (name) on the Oysters list! The town is really in Maine, not CT but you get the picture. 

Scott loved the curry mussels at the Portsmouth Brewery!
